"The very first time at the Grove City location my husband and I both noticed how the receptionist was very cold and wouldn't even look at us when we spoke to her...we thought maybe she was just having a bad day so we decided to give her grace, but understand when you are already enduring stress due to needing to be at this office in the first place you don't need to be greeted by someone who has a stank attitude....its very off-putting. However, the Dr was very nice and pleasant so we decided to go back. At our 2nd appointment, a week later, we find that we arrived at the wrong time although my husband received a reminder call that advised the time that we showed up, which we informed the receptionist of, but she responded very short and then stated she would see if the Dr. would see him....we sat in awkward silence after she said that the doctor may not be able to see him. She eventually informed us that the Dr. would go ahead and see him after I told her we would come back. When we were greeted by the Dr he immediately said "this can't happen again" with an aggressive demeanor. We were caught off guard. I informed him that we offered to come back and that there was a mixup with the confirmation of the appointment time and he still proceeded to talk to us with a bad attitude while giving us bad news...wow, what a way to receive devastating news! When I would ask questions on my husband's behalf the Dr. acted like he didn't even want to look at me or answer my questions ...it was very apparent. My husband and I were disgusted with how he was acting. The Dr definitely was a totally different person than the one we met at the prior appointment although, we saw the same Dr!! NO ONE deserves to be teated this way, especially when you are already feeling down from having health issues. EVERYONE deserves the best care. We need Healthcare professionals that are compassionate and caring. I have specialized in Healthcare financing for 18 years and we have always informed our clients/doctors that the receptionist is the face of their business and they will determine if patients stay or go to another doctor, majority of the time, no matter how good the Dr. is. They need to fire the receptionist...PERIOD! She is rude. I am looking for a different oncologist that has a staff that will treat us with respect and give my husband the best care possible. Remember, the patient is the "boss" because the patient pays the doctors for their services. We can choose who cares for us and we should give our money to those that deserve it...don't accept anything less than the best care, we aren't. Be well friends and take care of eachother. With love, AB~"

"I have been to the Grove City Zangmeister Center twice. The doctors and nurses have been great. I am not a fan of the girl that works the front desk. Both times I have been there, she has been very short and rude. I am considering making the drive to the original Zangmeister Center. I have always been pleased with that office."

"Dr Rios-Perez is excellent! Personable, treats the patient with respect and dignity. Shares his treatment plan in a way I felt reassured, understanding next steps and felt he had a genuine interest in my care."

"The staff at the Grove City office are beyond exceptional. I was a patient of Dr. Knapp but now am under the care of Dr. Rios. He, as the other medical personnel, are kind, caring and gracious. They are extremely patient, especially with my situation and my scheduling issues due to my job demands. I highly recommend to anyone who needs specialized care and understanding. I am eternally grateful."
