"I called and was connected with the Westlake office. Wonderful experience, I highly recommend New Leaf"

"I went to two therapists here, one when I was 12 and the other when I was 16. It was horrendous both times. When I was 12, my therapist would become aggressive and openly angry when I didn’t immediately open up. That caused an emotional shutdown that lasted actual years because I was afraid to express I was upset out of fear of people getting angry at me when I don’t tell them every detail as to why. When I was 16? The therapist, TWO DAYS AFTER MEETING ME, told me she thinks I’m “too much to handle”. I hadn’t even expressed anything her anything yet, we barely had met. Everyone I know who went to New Leaf (multiple friends/peers) say they immensely regret it. Don’t allow your kids here, please."

"Horrible communication. Waiting to hear from the “counselor” aka social worker to give me an update on my 7yo’s therapy sessions and nothing for weeks! She finally emailed me to say we can set up a call (that was supposed to happen 2 days ago), again, nothing. Talking about “communication lacking due to health issues.” We all have medical issues, people dying, sick kids etc. While I have compassion, just looking like an excuse at this point. I would not recommend them. Went there based on an online recommendation and it used to be by our old house."
