"Sunrise puts on a yearly Easter egg hunt for special needs kiddos and families. My 6 year old son and I went today, only our second year going there and living in Richmond, and I just love that place. My son enjoys it - he is autistic and non-verbal - but he absolutely knows what to do when he sees a yard full of eggs and an Easter bunny. I liked where they had it on their property this year compared to last year’s location on the property. This year it was a smaller area fenced in, very nice. They even had someone in a big Easter bunny costume. My son is scared of horses but we are interested in what they offer for kiddos like him, to help ease him into enjoying these beautiful animals and nature if we wants to try, and the sounds of animals and nature, as he is very sensitive to the unexpected sounds when outside. Everyone there is so amazingly kind. And also generous to put this hunt on for these kiddos who may have a hard time at other Easter egg hunts in our area that are offered to every child of every ability. My son can’t keep up with some of the kids at the other hunts and that’s totally okay…. he does things at his own comfortable pace and his own way of understanding. They hide golden eggs and the kiddos can win a prize if they find one. My son has been playing with the toy he won since we left. He’s so excited. We appreciate them so much for this hunt so kids like my son can participate in one outside of a yearly family hunt, and ours is just not ever as exciting to him as this one has been. I hope we will be interacting with Sunrise more in the future."

"They let me bring my 2 year old daughter out that is obsessed with horses to meet them for the first time in person it was the best thing ever. She absolutely loved it. And Sarah was great with the kids.. the horse were great with the kids as well.. all the way around great experience.. i can't thank them enough definitely going to go back"
