Super 8 by Wyndham Copley Akron

"I Give 4 out of 5 stars for what it is. For price, location, and cleanliness this place is definitely underrated!!! Price is fair, and it may not be the best hotel but for what you pay it is more than fair. Yes they are under construction sometimes, for improvements obviously. I would take this hotel any day of the week if I'm on a budget. If it not being almost 50 minutes from where I live, I would stay here more frequently. Definitely underrated, does not deserve a poor rating at all. I don't eat the free breakfast often but they do have free breakfast FYI"

"I had 400 lbs men doing jumping Jack's on my head at 12 am we just got back from my brother's bedside where he died. My husband went 4 times after my call to the office with nothing happening. Then at 5am rap music and jumping Jack's. We made several calls to super 8 and to the main office only to be told that the owner was out of town. My brother will be gone 2 weeks tomorrow I didn't get much rest. And I didn't get any help with my troubles. I have told my family that in May when we have the celebration of life. If we have to rent rvs. Camp at campsite or sleep in cars just never stay at the super 8."

"The location is not currently there fault meaning Freeway rerouting sucks bad. Had to rate the service so low because after a week there was still no reimbursement or apology. I thought I'd lucked up by getting a room with hard wood tile floors NOPE. There were particles,crumbs and Doritos all-round the floor. Either rice or bug larva on the desk under the TV. Very poor caulking around the dingy toilet. Normal wear and tear on the tub. Bathroom excused because I grew up without much but I'd never PAY to sleep in a stranger's mess or garbage. I work too hard. After being informed by receptionist they had no housekeeping or even a broom I could use. I'd had enough. A 20min stay.I didn't even disturb the bed. So they probably rerented it out with my sprinkle on toilet seat. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR if you work,hustle or borrow. Spend a little more time or money and avoid picking up unwanted bedbugs,cockroaches,mites or any other surprises they offer."

"I've been here 7 weeks and I'm going to be here for at least another month. I've stayed at many places the past few years and I have to say that this is by far the best yet. Breakfast has a good selection and everything is very clean. Someone is always at the front desk and one time I wasn't feeling well for a few days and they actually cancelled my room to see if I was ok! And asked if I needed anything!! Nobody does that anymore!! I was so appreciative. Housekeeping comes every day and always ask how I'm doing and if I need anything else. You just don't know how nice that is. People who actually care about you and their place is wonderful. They're renovating the rooms and they are doing an excellent job. Thank you All for being so kind and caring"

"This hotel is undergoing a major renovation which is causing a lot of disruption in day to day operations. The rooms were ok but dated. Our bed kept making weird noises as we moved side to side. The bathtub kept getting clogged. There were crazy noises early in the morning. The gym was one of the worst I had been to . Also at breakfast there was basic item unavailable like bagel etc. The coffee was terrible. Maybe if we visited another time the experience would have been better."
