Motel 6 Huron, OH - Sandusky

"Stayed here several times, overlooking the bad reviews, never had any issues, the last time, will be the last time, there was hair inside the tub as if it wasnt clean, a gob of hair with who knows what else was wrapped up and came out of the piping of the jacuzzi, will not be returning, sad to say $100 a night for a jacuzzi room is a deal! Your loss!"

"We should have left but being the nice people we are we gave the benefit of a doubt... We are here from Florida visiting my granddaughter... My son had recommended this hotel so we decided to try it out. First of all...There are no "Do not disturb" signs, So every day that we were at this motel, Someone would knock on our door calling out "Room service"...One morning that we told the person that we were ok but she would proceed to unlock our door and say "Well, I need to come in anyway and check ur bathroom and makes her way in. Mind you we have our doors locked, I don't even know how she unlocked the top latch but somehow she did unlock the latch. She came in looked and said "I need to know if you need towels"...After we told her "We were ok and didn't need anything". I feel this was an invasion of our privacy. I have NEVER stayed at a motel/hotel where they "had" to come in and check your bathroom. One day that we went out shopping, we noticed that someone did enter our room, Also while they are vacuuming the hallway, they managed to hit our door. The walls of the shower had previous hair. The extra toilet paper had mold all through it. The beds and pillows were extra hard. A silverfish was crawling on my daughters bed. Counters in the bathroom were not connected to the wall causing it to lean so stuff slid a little. No fridge or microwave in our standard room. The vent in the restroom was not clean. Most staff were friendly. Would NOT recommend this Motel 6..."

"I stopped by at nearly 3am when the snow on the highway got too bad. The room I had was clean, and quiet. There were a few places that the flooring was coming up and the furnace/AC unit had leaks around it so the subzero winds came in throughout the night. The beds were made nicely, but I probably should have called down to the front desk for extra blankets because the ones on the beds were super thin. I also had a hard time sleeping while feeling every single spring in the bed. Overall it served its purpose and I was safe overnight until the storm passed, I had the option of a noon checkout but ended up leaving around 9:30."

"Where to begin… Hot tub was not working (one main reason we wanted to stay there). Spoke with front desk the day before stay and no mention was made at that time or at reservation. Room smelled terrible (thankfully window did open, but we still had to leave it open for several hours). Heater in room was intermittently clicking on and off multiple times a minute throughout the night. Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. There were also no electrical plugs on one side of the bed. Train tracks being right next to the motel meant loud train horns throughout the nights and made it difficult to sleep. Elevator dinging was extremely loud and also woke us up several times. Multiple party’s of people tramped through the halls at all hours of the night. Dogs are allowed so occasional barking must be expected if staying here. Next time I would seriously consider sleeping in my car over this place."

"My mom, my 2 kids & I went on an overnight trip to Ohio to surprise a friend at her daughter's baby shower. We got a live-in suite at a hell of a deal! $100 for 2 adults & 2 kids! And they're pet friendly! My (retired) emotional support dog went with us. She's 14 yrs old & barely makes a peep anyways, but everyone was impressed with how well behaved she was. She even got to sit poolside with me while we watched my mom swim with the kids. My kids enjoyed the pool & my little guy (2) even figured out how to swim with his floaties on! If we'd had the chance, we definitely would have stayed longer because it was a fantastic experience."
