"Gynecologist was on vacation but I needed to discuss concerning side effects from medication. It was almost closing time so I asked if another doctor, PA or NP could call me before the end of the week to discuss my concerns since my doctor was not available and they told me that was not possible and that I would have to wait until the next week when my gynecologist returned . If your doctor is on vacation the clinic/practice should have someone available to tag in for their patients if a problem arises. Even when my doctor did get back with me it was only to say that she did tell me of the side effects, completely disregarding my concerns. It was the doctors equivalent of "I told you so," when she could have been more empathetic. Do not recommend this clinic."
"When I originally started with this practice I thought it was caring thoughtful practice. I no longer can state the same. The entire office is dismissive and are not buttoned up. If you are looking for a doctor and a practice that cares about your results and respects your privacy this is not the practice for you. I won’t go into details on this public forum. Just Know as women we deserve to be treated with compassion and care whether we are in birthing years, pre menopausal or in menopause -unfortunately this office has forgotten this."
"ORIGINAL 2017 REVIEW: I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place is wonderful. Every staff person I've interacted with has been kind and professional. The doctors explain everything in normal language and make it easy to understand. They also respond to phone and MyChart messages within 24 hours. I can always get an appointment when I need one, even on short notice, and I don't need to go through an extensive phone tree to reach a person. I faxed them 8 pages of paperwork for my employer and they returned it ALL in less than 24 hours. I have never had a doctor's office be so fantastic. I have had appointments with all three original doctors and they are all great. They recently hired a fourth doctor whom I have not seen yet but I imagine she will be nice as well based on my experience with this office. EDIT February 2021: I have now had 3 babies with this practice and my experience has continued to be overwhelmingly positive. Every time I have a friend mention a poor experience with an OB/GYN, I refer them to this practice. Since my original review in 2017, one doctor left and two doctors have joined, but I love all of them."
"If I could've given zero stars, I would have. Do you aspire to average and want an OB who does the same? Are you looking for care that is just "meh" at every turn? Then you might LOVE this group. I, on the other hand, expect more from my drs and their staff. So here are the details of everything that went wrong for me and my first pregnacy: 1) Confirmation Visit: At first appointment, dr was all smiles and super perky until the ultrasound. She said things didnt look right and then she rattled off all kinds of things that could be wrong. And then told me the nurse would make an appointment for me to get a second opinion at the hospital. Her behavior was so abrupt and created a ton of anxiety for me and my partner. We both agreed if the pregnancy was viable that we would find another OB. This encounter also convinced me I would need a doula for this or any future pregnancies. 2) Blood Test: Rather than my blood being drawn in the office, the dr sent me to the lab on another floor. After waiting a half hour to be seen, the nurse said she couldn't do all of the tests ordered. So she drew blood for the ones she could. The first try, she couldn't find the vein. My arm ended up with a bruise from elbow to wrist that lasted 2 weeks. Then we had to drive to a second lab and wait, yet again, for the remainder of the blood tests. 3) Specialist: The only thing that went well in this whole debacle was going to see the specialist. He was professional and treated me like a human. He explained that the pregnancy was concerning, but he saw no signs of the long list of major issues the first dr rattled off. He felt since I was only about 7-8 weeks we should wait and see how the next 2 weeks go and then do another ultrasound. 4) Scheduling: I had to call the dr to have her put in an order to see the specialist again. The office was insistent I had to come back to see the dr, but I pushed back saying I was supposed to see the specialist, not the original dr. The nurse finally went to ask the dr and then apologized for the confusion and confirmed that the appointment should be with the specialist. 5) Miscarriage: The next week, while on a business trip to the west coast, I started bleeding and cramping. It got progressively worse. I assumed I was miscarrying. When the pain got so bad that I couldn't talk or move at times, I contacted the on call dr to see if I should go to the ER (it was the middle of the night and I was alone). He asked me if my pregnancy had been confirmed and then said go to the ER if you are bleeding through multiple pads an hour. He was less useful than all my googling. I can only imagine he is about this helpful when he delivers babies. 6) Insult to Injury: Apparently there is a huge delay in how and when the on call notes make it to the office. While flying home the next day, I got a perky voicemail from the office saying they received my test results and everything looks great. SERIOUSLY!?! I guess they didnt get the memo that I miscarried 8 hours earlier. Everything is not "great". Then a few hours after that, I got a call saying they heard from the on call dr and requesting that I come in for an ultrasound. Seriously!?! Do these people use carrier pigeons as their primary method of communication? 7) Follow Up: I saw another dr in the practice for this visit, she was slightly more professional than the first. She confirmed I had miscarried. It was like a switch was flipped, everyone in the office who passed us said "I'm sorry for your loss". Its like they only know two scripts: "everything is great" and "sorry for your loss". They don't know how to handle anything outside of those scenarios. They told me they would cancel any future appointments, including the appointment with the specialist. 8) More Insult to Injury: Last night I got a reminder phone call for my appointment with the specialist. It was an automated message, so I thoght maybe it was a mistake. NOPE! Called the scheduler and the appointment was still booked, so I had to cancel it afterall. You deserve better!!! Choose a different OB!!!"
