"The Valentine is spectacular! This was my first time there and I was blown away with it's beauty and history. A special thanks to the employee who approached me as I was admiring the lobby and gave me a brief history on the place. Highly recommend going to see a show here and supporting some of our local talent."

"Won’t be back ever again. Ruined my view with the speaker on the very first row dead-center my viewpoint during the show about 9/11 from Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. Very disappointed, paid 90-some dollars to just get to hear most of the show, see only about a quarter of it when the actors moved off to the sides of said speaker. If you pay more money, you should get a full view. Management does not agree. Management does not want to refund, rather they will send you to other shows for free that you didn’t ask to see. All I wanted was for them to acknowledge they needed to move the speaker. I wasn’t looking for a refund but after that phone call I received back and insisting that *I* should have SAID something to an usher (as if there were plenty of other seats, and there were not!), so now I *DO* want a refund to make it right. I’ll take this post down once they make it right. They are doing this to other people that don’t speak up! Can bet on that!!! Very aggravated with this FIRST-TIME EVER experience… just sad because it really is a beautiful theater, but when managers aren’t willing to listen, who can you rectify it with??"

"The Valentine Theater is located in downtown Toledo, OH. Driving on I-75S, take exit 202A toward Washington Street/Downtown. From there the Valentine Theater is less than a mile away. Parking is plenty and just a short walk to the Theater. The Arena Parking lot is the closest to the Valentine Theater. If choosing the Arena Lot to park, arrive early to avoid parking congestion. (The Huntington Center is only a five-minute walk away making the Arena Lot a popular place to park.) The Valentine Theater is nearly 125 years old and a sight to see! The stately lobby has grande two grand staircases and displays historical pictures. The ornate theatre has raked seating, improving visibility for the audience. The orchestra level is almost entirely open giving the audience an unobstructed view of the awe-inspiring chandelier. Even with the wide open ceiling, The Valentine Theater creates an intimate atmosphere for the audience and the performers."
