Extended Stay America - Dayton - North

"Positive: The staff at the front desk both late at night and this morning were lovely people. Friendly & helpful. Negatives: There is no coffee maker in the room. It has the usual extended stay kitchen, with zero cleaning spray, zero soap, and no sponge. There is zero cooking equipment. VERY noisy along the interstate with huge trucks roaring by all night long. Bring earplugs. Sheets had stains and bathroom paint was a mess. The table in the room had not been cleaned and was covered with something sticky and greasy. The bathroom sink would not drain and the apparatus was also broken. The vinyl flooring is in disrepair and coming up off the floor. But here's the real kicker: WE WOKE UP AND DISCOVERED THERE WAS ZERO TOILET PAPER ON THE ROLLS IN THE BATHROOM AND NO SPARE ROLLS. Except for the super nice people running the show at the front desk, this place is one huge NO. We are now off to find a restaurant with a clean bathroom with toilet paper so that we can have breakfast and use the facilities. Unbelievable."

"Super helpful in transition relocating from Indiana to Ohio. Free coffee, breakfast. Hot showers, comfortable beds & room. Great location off i75 w/ restaurants & shopping in walking distance and bus stops to downtown. Friendly & efficient lady check in & out quickly. Very clean rooms w/ kitchen & big fridge. I would stay again if I need to. Thanks!"

"I’ve stayed at this Extended Stay a few times. Always happy with the cleanliness. Yet this time was different. Room 230 is fine, excluding the bathroom. The wash basin is covered in soap scum, absolutely vile as I attempted to wash myself without sliding around. Its thickness is telling me that this was a long term case of negligence. A much more minor complaint, the bathroom mirror seemed to be half cleaned. Not really an issue but now I’m worried about what else they didn’t do. I’ll be contacting the front desk in the morning."

"Late check in last Tuesday. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and checked me in very quickly. He helped me with my luggage, too. Very clean property, no bugs and quiet. I got a good nite’s sleep for the job interview and got hired! Handy breakfast in the morning. Awesome location off I-75 by shopping & Skyline Chili. Safe area, no troubles. Reasonably priced. Clean kitchenette and full-sized fridge. Also, the water was hot in the shower. And the windows open for fresh air. The staff at this hotel made moving to Dayton very easy. Great job!!"

"More of a 2 star than 2.5 star. The furniture is old/basic. There aren't coffee machines in the room. Cleanliness was not the best (saw a roach and the towels were stained). Elevator also is broken. Front desk was nice and there's a vending machine and the beds were comfortable."
