"I’ve stayed here multiple times for business, I love the gym and the location. I’ve never been acknowledged for being a diamond member but that really doesn’t bother me as I’m not a people person and prefer to be left alone. This week I checked in on Monday evening and went to bed around 10pm, woke up multiple times itching and finally at 2am I found a bed bug and I had red bumps on both arms, my neck and back. I caught a bug and put it in a coffee cup and took it to the front desk. They told me they’d put me in a different room the next day so I spent the next 4 hours sitting in the computer chair and then went to work. Spent 3 more nights itching like crazy and not being able to sleep. I went back to the front desk and showed them the swelling and red, blisters and the morning guy acted like he could care less. They ended up giving me $40 off a $515 tab and never got an apology or anything from the manager. My company uses this hotel every time someone travels here up until I put the word out…I personally would have stayed there again had I got an apology, $40 discount for 4 sleepless nights and blisters didn’t make me happy"

"Stayed here a couple of days on business. Nicely situated off the highway. Not much selection of places to eat other fast food or fast casual in the area. Rooms were quiet and updated. Bed was comfortable and slept pretty good. Staff was accommodating and breakfast was well...an HIE breakfast."

"Worst hotel experience EVER. No customer service. Had a room booked for 5 days and selected to pay at check in. Got to check in at 11pm at night, ready to just go to bed. The clerk, Tracy, that tried to check us in said our card had declined. Okay, shouldn’t have but whatever. Used a different card, declined as well. Told us it’s not his system and it’s our cards. Checked cards, nope got the money and no lock. He said he couldn’t help us at all and that there was no way it was his system. So, now it’s midnight and we graciously found a hotel down the street and they helped us wonderfully. Never will I EVER stay at a holiday inn ever again. I would like management to contact me."

"Spacious room, #405, comfy bed. The room was clean on check-in except for the 6 dead flies that were left on the window sill! Housekeeping had just cleaned the room because she was on the floor and my door was ajar on check-in (a bit creepy!). After first looking at my room, I parked my car in the back when getting my suitcases, (my window overlooked the back), and then couldn't get in the back door (my room key was not programmed completely), so I froze trying to get in then had to drive back to the front. The front desk did fix my key but then tried to keep one (I had two key cards). He gave it back when I asked for it. The bed was comfy, the location was good - quiet and there's a Walmart next door which is convenient. I didn't have time to use the pool but it looked nice. Good selection at breakfast. 8/21/23 Update: My second stay at this hotel, first one was 8 months prior. Room #423: Comfy bed, good AC, spacious room, super nice lounge chair this time! Dirty floor, poor quality soap and shower gel in wall dispensers, ended up using the shampoo as soap. NIce towels, rotate shower head for better pressure. Fridge cycles off for 8 hours at a time making it appear that it doesn't work, it did manage to refreeze my ice packs overnight. Everything in the room worked (TV, lights, outlet). Pool was nice but a bit small, luckily I was the only one using it that night. Good breakfast. Good location for visiting in Middletown, Ohio."

"Our stay was overall pleasant, but it seemed as if our heater in the room quit before we got through our first night, and was very loud. Breakfast was very nice. Bathroom had some minor things such as paint peeling, wobbly fixtures. Living space was kinda dark, only back lighting. Even with minor inconveniences, we'd stay again."
