"I'm happy if a campground has clean, hot showers, a clean bathroom and laundry, and reliable wi-fi. This small, quirky campground had all four, so I was happy. We've stayed at quite a few campgrounds on our trip to the Great Lakes, and this was the first campground that had all four. This is a small, very quiet campground with extremely friendly campers. On the night we arrived, the person who worked in the office was ill in the hospital, so we arrived with reservations, but no map, and no one in the office. The seasonal campers came out, welcomed us, showed us to our site, and explained how best to pull in. There are many seasonal campers - a few of the sites looked rundown, but most were well maintained. It was shaded, wooded and relaxing. We stayed two nights. On our first day, we met two camp employees, who were taking turns running the office. They were both extremely helpful and accommodating. No pool. A pond - half of which is for swimming and half for fishing. Extremely well priced - $36/night. Can't beat it! We'd be happy to return!"
