"Very bad insurance company. Made a claim 2 months ago. It is not being processed. The person who is handling the case does not respond to calls/ emails. A garbage company which should be out of business. Pls do not use them ever."

"I gave one star, because zero stars wasn't an option. My car was damaged at the hands of one of their customers, and they're making it impossible to complete the claim. After almost a week of back and forth emails because the assigned claims rep won't return a call, I have gotten nowhere. In order to process the claim they require ME to do the estimate. I have told them in numerous emails that not only do I NOT work for the insurance company, I'm not even available to take photos of the car until after dark. They said I was welcome to take it up with my own insurance company. I would avoid this insurance company like the plague. If this is how they treat someone who was inconvenienced by their customer, I hate to think how they would treat their own customer."

"I am currently dealing with this company. We filed a homeowners claim after a confirmed tornado touched down just a few miles from our home. They sent a third party to evaluate the damage. The report supposedly reads different than what the inspector told me while he was here. It took me an entire month to finally get in contact with someone. He seemed surprised I was calling. He had my report the entire time and said he would read it and call me back because it was 46 pages long. After a considerably short amount of time he called me back to tell me they would be able to provide just over $2000 to fix our exterior as well as our interior which has significant damage to several sheets of drywall. As I began inquiring about the specifics they were covering regarding time, square footage, specific repairs, materials, he continually dodged my questions. I was told I would be receiving a call back from his supervisor when he returned from lunch. A day later, I have yet to get a response. Based on my research and average costs for my area, it will actually cost between 5-7 thousand to fix the issues. They are are horrible at contacting customers, horrible to speak to once they answer and completely ignored several issues caused by the storm. I am immunocompromised as a cancer patient who just finished steroids and had a major surgery since the damage occurred. In the last month that our adjuster has ignored our report, the rain, heat and humidity have continued to make for perfect conditions to grow mold in my attic and the adjoining drywall. Leaving me incredibly concerned about my personal health. My policy is due to renew this week. I will most definitely be moving my business elsewhere. Never in my life have I had a more infuriating experience dealing with an insurance company."

"Have had Westfield for our auto and home for 6 or 7 years. Had some roof damage to the point of water leaking in rooms of my house. Have had 2 roofing companies say that the damages warranted a full replacement but have been denied twice by Westfield. Don't waste your money go with a company who will stand by their clients."
