"My grandson was 7 years old and a handful when I called Mr. Swingle at Mc Feeders Tae Kwon Do in Alliance inquiring about the martial arts program for kids. I explained that my grandson was very smart and did well with school lessons but not so good in the behavioral department. Mr Swingle thought the program of obtaining a black belt might give him something that’s fun, provides excellent physical exercise and more importantly teaches discipline and respect. With the blessing of his mother, my daughter, we signed him up. What a difference it made!! His grades got even better, and his behavioral marks went from bad to excellent!! It took him 3 ½ years to get his black belt. The cost of the program is very reasonable. The black belt program recommends 2 classes per week, although students can go to any of the 8 schools and attend as many as 5 classes per week with no additional cost. We took advantage of that and during the summer my grandson attended 3-4 classes per week at the Alliance and Minerva locations. In addition, there are tournaments and workshops available to the students. If you have a child or grandchild, I highly recommend the programs at Mc Feeders Tae Kwon Do."
