"I've been working out for 18 years. I miss the old school, hard-core, but still family friendly gyms. I walked in from Sarasota Florida and felt like family. No need for locking your stuff up. Everyone is a good Ole boy or girl and polices them selves. These are the gyms that build STRONG COMMUNITIES AND LEADERS."
"It’s a small gym but it’s clear that the owners care about the equipment. A belt squat, a good hack squat, power bars, deadlift platforms, and all kinds of great machines. $10 for a day pass is a good deal IMO and $30 per month is a steal. I’m a powerlifter. They don’t have kilogram plates or a combo rack but they have everything I need to get the job done."
"I’ve been going here off and on for 6 years until just recently where I switched to being here FULL time. The old school feel of the gym is unmatched. Nautilus equipment, rogue, hammer strength, plenty of dumbbells - hex and regular - the list goes on. I not only train myself here I now train ALL of my clients out of here. The atmosphere is what I look for in a gym: community focused, always striving to give back, family oriented, even service dogs are allowed and can be seen sitting with their owners as they train — just a super supportive and encouraging place. Albeit an old school feel, the encouragement you feel and receive here is gold. The music is good, the owners are amazing, the staff and members are respectful, and I know with the current and new expansion in the works, it’s only going to get better. Look no further for a gym! This is it"
"I love this gym so much, I started going when I was relatively new to lifting and the environment is WAY better than the YMCA I was going to before. I was kind of worried that a bodybuilding focused gym wouldn't be a safe/ welcoming space for women but I feel super comfortable and I've never had any creepy experiences there. If I kept going to the Y I would have never gotten this into it, the equipment and music are great. The bathroom is super nice too, there's a positive message on the mirror with a baby changing table and drawers for spare pads/ tampons/ hair ties/ spray deodorant/ etc."
