"They hang out in the parking lot near the old bank and are very noisy! I live in the neighborhood and walk my dogs up to the shopping center quite a lot and the kids keep harassing me about petting the dogs even after I told them to leave me alone! The counselors do not make the kids be quiet and respectful! The kids are mouthy and have no manners!!"

"Our family is involved in the afterschool program and the martial arts program. We love both. There are so many great things to say so I will stick with the highlights. It was obvious from our first visit that the people of MPower are like a family. No one here treats it like just a job. I know that the staff is genuinely invested in the well-being of my son. The afterschool program at MPower is a refreshing change for us. We had an experience at a well known (and generally well regarded) large daycare chain. At the chain daycare the turnover was extremely high. This was prior to the pandemic, and there was only one actual care provider that was there throughout our 6 month stint. Most of the care providers showed little interest in the children and blamed any problems on the (then two year old) children. The care providers at MPower are very well trained on how to help the children. They work with the parents directly on a regular basis to make sure that everyone is on the same page. And as for turnover, I can only think of one person who has left in the year and a half that we've been with MPower. He was a young person who was moving on to a different career. There are so many people in the daycare industry who are willing to take money from parents. There are very few who genuinely care about the kids. My son has been with MPower for a year and a half and he feels valued, cared for, and like a part of the team. Everyone from the owner on down develops actual relationships with the kids. Our family is very fortunate to have found MPower Kenwood :)"
