"The useful thing about martial-arts based self-defense classes, is *even if you never use them* for self defense, you're still in great shape afterwards; break-fall training has been super useful in snowboarding and other sports. As a company, CKM is very professional and technically adept, I've never seen them miss on clerical details of membership, billing, communication, etc. Great people & experience all around."

"My wife and I enjoyed our intro lesson enough to continue classes. Ron was a great and engaging instructor, and we felt really welcome at the gym. Can’t wait to go back."

"Took my first krav maga class today and I loved my experience! They kept me moving and I learned techniques that will hopefully stay with me when I possibly get attacked in the future. I'm definitely signing my daughter up cause everyone should know some kind of defense with their hands"

"This is a wonderful martial arts school. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and the students (even the higher ranks) are supportive and willing to help and guide you. Not a lot of big egos here, just nice people. The facility itself is great, large and clean with many dressing rooms and showers. Krav Maga itself is a fantastic martial art, rooted in self-defense and keeping things real, effective and simple. Anyone can start and quickly learn the basic moves regardless of athletic ability or lack of :) The owner is a black belt and travels to Israel every year to train. He is a terrific person, super-friendly and makes everything fun. The classes are also quite a workout as you warm up for that weeks training session. Just a great school - I have learned much in just a few months and feel more confident if I ever need to defend myself. I truly look forward to going and continuing to learn. My highest recommendation!"

"The Cincinnati Krav Maga school has really been one of my better decisions. I was looking for something to challenge myself & I found it here. The instructors are knowledgeable and I appreciate how they break down techniques as it relates to a potential real life situation. A lot of time, well spent, is on the fundamentals - kicking, striking, blocking and maneuvering. This approach is effective in coaching the student to have a good defense in any situation. Instructors are courteous and treat all with respect. The higher rank students are also quite helpful and are usually willing when extra practice is needed. Classes last an hour. With about 20 min. spent on conditioning. The remainder is focused on techniques (rotated weekly). I would encourage you not "think about it" - take that shot and try a class and get a real sense for practical self defense."
