"Leaving 5 stars for the location listed on the address but the review is for the highland location - the bald man at highland shouldn’t have taken this job if he hates kids so much. He’s rude and always in a bad mood, I watched the other man in charge tell a child he could have something then the bald man ran over and snatched it from him. The kid said the other man told him he could have it and he said “well if that’s tthe he then you can get it tomorrow when mrs. Christy is here”. Then watched him yell at another kid to sit down. Idk what I thought but this is not how I imagined the boys and girls club to be and the teacher last year was a lot more pleasant. my nephew said it’s very different from last year and he hates going to boys and girls club this year and now I see why ."

"I attended the Boys & Girls club from the age of 6 to 6th grade. After being a member, I was employed by B&G on and off through out my early teens and college. My children will more than likely attend here as well. The staff really try their best to do what they think is right for the kids. They teach everything from reading to gymnastics; all for a quarter a day. The kids learn respect for themselves and for others. I have seen time and time again parents thank professional staff members for what they try to do. I have also seen the opposite on more than one occasion. lol Over all, I love this place and I really wish people would donate more to the club. That way, it could provide more to the kids"
