"Good place but hours need to extend , for people with 9 to 5s they would only be able to work out on weekends, extended the hours by maybe 1 or 2 hours would greatly improve this establishment . Highly recommend west toledo ymca over this one."

"I am very disappointed with the YMCA. My husband was going to the YMCA gym for many years. He had a issue years ago. He took care of it. Now the YMCA has revoked his membership. I think that is so wrong. I was also going to the gym at the YMCA but I immediately cancelled my membership because what they did was absolutely wrong. I won't recommend the YMCA."

"The experience that I have had with the YMCA at the beginning of this global pandemic and through even today has been nothing but troubling, insulting, stressful and terrible. I signed up for a trial membership for one dollar at the end of February just before everything shut down. I had recently given birth to a premature infant and when the news of Covid spread I tried to cancel my membership but was told that I had to do so in person. I said that I was uncomfortable coming into a branch I had never been into a branch and with the pandemic looming I wanted to cancel my membership by phone or by email. Mind you I have all if the email records. Not only did they not cancel my membership for months ( I still had never visited) They kept billing my account. I tried to dispute it with my financial institution I canceled my credit cards and tried to switch my account number and I was only met with threats To send my account to legal collection. Again I had never set foot in a YMCA I had made three attempts to cancel my account and was met with nothing but rudeness. While my husband was furloughed from work and I had a premature baby and a toddler at home to care for the YMCA cause multiple NSF fees in my bank account because they just would not stop taking money from an account that I canceled and now I get a letter in the mail saying will be so kind to dismiss the balance of your account. I wouldn't have a balance on my account if anyone would have done as asked in writing. In addition to this- I was also sent collection letters to my home twice in someone else's name. The YMCA should be ashamed of themselves. I will never rejoin, pay this "balance" or recommend them to anyone."

"Between a global pandemic and job loss nationwide, how a organization can charge individuals for memberships to thier gym without notifying them that they could "delay" it is beyond me. Spoke with thier membership manager Sylvia who was rude and told me that there was nothing they could do. Hope the YMCA can start adopting policy changes so that they dont dupe people into memberships when a pandemic is currently going on. Glad to work with them again when they focus on me and not membership dues."
