Progressive Insurance

"I previously had an ok experience with Progressive until they were too expensive. More recently, I signed up for Auto/Home insurance due to Liberty Mutual being very expensive. They use Homesite for home insurance and the did absolutely nothing in the face of Homesite cancelling my insurance with 3 weeks notice if a new roof was not installed. I'm not sure I'll ever use them again. A cold, faceless corporation to confirm we're all just numbers and don't matter."

"Worst experience of my life. My claims agent is impossible to get ahold of and refuses to help. I've been without a car for almost a month, because of an accident that wasn't my fault."

"I would not recommend Progressive Insurance to anyone seeking empathetic, efficient, and fair service in times of crisis. Their handling of our claim has demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer care and satisfaction. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. During this difficult time, they've been challenging to deal with, frequently misinterpreting our statements and discounting the seriousness of my wife's injuries. Communication has been a frustrating back and forth, with inconsistent information, long wait times, and a disregard for the complexity of our situation. As a result, we've felt more stressed and victimized during an already traumatic experience. The indifference and mismanagement displayed by Progressive Insurance, in this case, has been disappointing and distressing. The service was far from 'progressive'—it felt like we were battling against a corporation that cares more about their bottom line than the wellbeing of its claimants. This experience has deeply affected my wife's recovery process and our family's peace of mind. I will be utilizing social media to network with other individuals who’ve had similar experiences with Progressive and other insurance companies. Together we can create change for future generations."

"Worst claim experience. A driver who had Progressive hit my car on May 30th and still can't get an estimate. They used several pictures which did not show all the damage since the whole side of the car was damaged. Now we have to wait until a shop can get the car in and do a supplemental estimate. The adjuster was new in this position and has not followed through once. Avoid this company and pick an insurance company who will do the right thing. Update- company asked for an email in response to this review. Sent twice with no response from Progressove and they removed their response to this review. Avoid this company"

"My 1st fender bender in 10 yrs. I backed into someone. Backing out of a parking spot. I reversed out of spot doing less than 10mph. Yes our cars met. See the scratches on her rear bumper. Cosmetic damage. I was told the repair cost $4,700. When I asked how? Progressive allowed the dirtbag to claim suspension damage. There were scratches and nothing had come apart (bumper)how does suspension damage happen at less than 10 mph? The bumper was still on. This was not a high impact accident. That suspension damage would be possible. They will not fight for you even tho you have a clean driving record for 10yrs. I reverse in to spots when parking now. Progressive said there was cosmetic damage and it wouldn't be serious. That was a lie because they allowed a fraudelent claim to be approved. Suspension da.age at less than 10 mph isn't likely. Unless she's dri ing the car that jack built. Not going to spend money and then have the recipient of those funds. Not have my best interest at hand. She got hit at less than 10mph and Progressive allowed a fraudulent claim for suspension damage at less than 10mph to be approved. I drive slow and my record shows that... I wouldn't suggest a progressive policy. Try Allstate, yur in good hands they say... Cancelled policy went withLM saved $840 a year. All of which is from the accident. They increased my premium by $700. Thanks for pushing me to look elsewhere."
