"It is almost impossible to try to get somebody to call you back. They say 24 to 48 hours. That is a lie. I am now working on 5 days trying to get somebody to call me back. And this is the second straight time in a row that I have needed something and can't get a hold of anybody. The last time I had to walk in because nobody would call me back. They are pathetic"

"I have going here now for 5 years and they have always been great about getting back with me and giving me the care I need. I try and get all Veterans to go if they can."

"I am so aggravated that I can't even see straight. I have been trying for over a month now to try to get into Mental Health. I am really low on my medication and I can't get anyone to call me back when I leave voicemails to try to set up an appointment to be seen. I do work a lot and I do not have the luxury of being able to call of work. So, when my schedule comes out on Friday evenings for the following week, they are closed, so I call on Mondays to try to get an appointment, and every week, I can't get in to be seen. I mean, I really really REALLY need to be seen for my medications and to talk to a counselor. It'd be nice if they would at least give you the courtesy to call you back when you leave voicemails, because they never answer their phones. VA Healthcare is a joke for Veterans."
