"Update: I attended the first 2 sessions of the Bull Family Diabetes Center and this really changed my view of the place. The second visit was a class on nutrition presented by a dietitian. I think it was 2 1/2 hours long. I noticed that questions were never encouraged. It was just a lady talking and talking. Her main goal was to get thru the material. I believe that was the same goal for the first lady that talked about diabetes. I suspect that their teaching was Keto in disguise. They certainly talked about low carbs and the lady did mention Keto several times in her talking. I found that the presentation was not healthy and was distorted so I did not attend the remaining 2 session. I have had other classes on nutrition and this place is seems big on Keto and low low carbs. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I now understand the one star ratings."

"My Primary care doctor referred me to this office because I’ve been a diabetic for 20 years and my sugar was out of control and not responding to his care. They called me and informed me I had bills from 10 years ago from Premier health in the amount of $1413 that needed paid before I could see a doctor. They also told me after the finance part was taken care of I had to take Diabetes classes before seeing a doctor! Do not waste your time on this office. Don’t take my word for it. Read the other reviews that sound similar to mine"

"This practise is understaffed and undertrained. It’s really sad to say but they have no empathy for you as a patient. You’re lucky if they answer the phone. Nurse Robert’s prescribed me the wrong insulin and has never bothered to answer any of my messages on MyChart. It used to be worth dealing with all of this while Dr. Zeidan was here. Stay far away."

"I was referred to this practice by a friend. When I called, I was told I had to get a referral from family doc. Did so, and called again. After a couple days, talked to scheduler Lisa. For the first time, I was told I could not make an appointment until I went thought “certified diabetes education”. Lisa refused to check with my insurance to see if was covered. Then, she tells me I owe a $200 bill to Premier from 2011 and the doctor won’t see me I pay it! I said first, how do I prove I paid a bill from 12 years ago and second, even if I owed it, it is beyond Ohio’s statute to collect it. Lisa said call central billing. I feel this practice has mislead me from the beginning, and was finding ways not to cooperate with bringing me on. Stay away."

"I have been T1D since 1980 and became a patient of Bull Family Diabetes 25 years ago. Previously I had went to OSU Wexner Center but it was just too far to travel. I received excellent care from OSU and BFDC has been just as excellent. BFDC helped me through various insulin changes my insurance dictated and eventually transitioned me to pump technology and CGM. As a runner, hiker, and active outdoorsman they gave suggestions on managing BG, made adjustments to pump settings, and provided alternative plans and scripts to deal with the challenges of having T1D and being active, having back surgery becoming I'll with COVID, and the list goes on. And I would add my opinion that control of diabetes is a personal battle. I recognized early on that I have more control of my diabetes than anyone else - what I did, what I ate, active or not active, exercise consistently or continue ignoring that I am a diabetic, - that's all on me. I see doctors, pharmacists, medications as allies in MY battle to win control of MY diabetes. I'm not happy about having diabetes, I don't like eating 'different' than others, and exercising even on vacation - but by taking ownership my life is better than I imagined it would be 42 years ago; and Bull Family Diabetes Center doctors and staff are a huge part of my team. Ignore the negative reviews. Make an appointment - take control and decide for yourself."
