"I have listened to Paul Manion (sp) give bad instructions and information to more than one pilot because he wanted to show his dominance over others. It is hard to believe he is allowed to instruct. Because of that, I would not recommend using this school."

"I recently set out to earn my private pilot license. After doing a bit of research on schools in the area, I chose Vector Aviation. I chose this school for a few different reasons 1) Proximity to where I live 2) The facility and quality of their equipment 3) Their advertisement and commitment to flying whenever I have time that we discussed during our initial meeting. The first couple lessons went very well I thought. What I was finding more and more frustrating, however, was how difficult it was to schedule training days. It became apparent that the company did not share my excitement of getting flight hours in the books. On the website and during our initial meeting, it was stressed they were open seven days a week and they “encouraged students to fly as often as possible.” Reality was very different though. I would be nieve to not understand these schools exist primarily to buy aircraft and an opportunity for pilots and instructors to maintain flight hours for licensure. To put things in perspective, I’ve been at the school for just shy of 2 months, already spent over $1000, and only have about 3 hours recorded in my flight log. I’ll have to continue my search for a flight school that better fits my needs."
