"They always do their very best to see every patient that comes through their doors. They are kind, courteous, and professional. They have always explained things as thoroughly as possible and they work with me to make sure my fur babies are happy and healthy. Will absolutely recommend our friends and family to them!"

"The best vet clinic in Springfield! Not only is everyone friendly, they truly care, get you in in a timely manor, follow up, remind of appts, and just have great customer service! The doctors are very knowledgeable and take their time! They have so much to offer from simple routine vet care to the Paw center offering lots of rehab options! You can’t find any better!!!!"

"We have gone to Mad River Veterinary for over 5 years. They are excellent. Always get us in so quickly, always so very sweet! Pricing is excellent, very clean, friendly staff. They are not pushy, and very respectful of the owners opinions which I value. I refer everyone to go there! One of the best vets we have found!"

"After six years of taking our animals here, I am no longer comfortable trusting Mad River with there care, after multiple negative experiences. The final straw was picking up my cat from a routine dental cleaning to find him and his crate absolutely soaked in urine (pictures included). Nothing was mentioned of his state during the post-op handoff with the vet tech. When we called to complain about this issue, we were told it was because "he's an aggressive cat," which is completely untrue. I have, in fact, had multiple vets and one emergency vet exclaim on how chill and easygoing he is. It was clear that my poor cat had been placed in his crate and given minimal if any care until I picked him up. In addition to this most recent problem, we also had a previous issue with our cat developing a respiratory infection after his last dental procedure before this. After one round of antibiotics, Mad River pronounced it viral and said there was nothing else they could do. On getting a second opinion at another vet, the infection cleared up quickly with a different antibiotic. One of the vet techs at Mad River let slip during an appointment that my cat had been recovering post-op next to a sick cat. I do not recommend taking your animals to this vet for care."
