"10:00 7-6-2021. Whoever answered the phone told me the person I was asking to make an appointment with Audrey Lehman didn’t work there which was a lie because the person that referred me used to work in that office and because I asked her a few questions she hung up on me. Very rude and very bad customer service skills"

"Great experience. Dr. Mattox has excellent bedside manner. He takes his time with his patients, and genuinely cares. The office staff were super nice. Highly recommended!"

"Dr. Mattox doesn't listen to your problems. He told me that he that my frequent urination wasn't anything major and put me on medication that I didn't need. Found a new doctor and found out that I have prostate trouble. I guess urinating 3 - 4 times a hour is more serious than he wants to treat. Now I know why he takes walkins"

"I chose Dr. Mattox as my newborn son's primary care physician. (He's now 10 months old) Generally the wait all together to get back there, get checked/shots, paperwork, and to the front desk is about 2 hours, but I don't mind the wait because the staff and doctors there are great! Very knowledgeable, and always address all of my concerns! The nurses and receptionists always have asked if I needed help when I had my hands full with my youngest, my oldest, a car seat carrier, and a diaper bag. They interact with my oldest son (who is 4 1/2 years old) and make his wait there fun (for a doctors visit ). Overall great experience just a bit of a wait sometimes, but I don't mind!"

"I was a first & last time patient at Dr. Mattox's practice today in Angola, IN. My experience was aggravating from the time I walked in until I walked out. My appointment was at 9:00AM. I arrived at 8:50AM. While waiting in the waiting room, I began noticing patients being called back who had arrived well after me. After the third patient (who had arrived after me) was taken to the back, I got up and mentioned to the staff that patients arriving after me were being taken to the back. Their response was, "You're next". I went back to my seat. After 5 minutes, a nurse came out to call the next patient. My name was not called. I got up from my seat and asked the staff again "When will my name be called?" Their response again was, "You're next". I didn't believe her, but I waited for my name to be called anyway. Once in the room, my experience was pleasant with Dr. Mattox. He's a nice man and does his job well. BUT the aggravation didn't stop. Dr. Mattox left my room at 10:40 AM. He shook my hand and left; closing the door behind him as if I were to wait for further instruction from a nurse or someone (which is common practice at EVERY doctors office I've ever been to). I sat in this room for an hour waiting for anyone to bring me my paper work to get my blood drawn. At 11:45 AM, I left the room and went up to the front desk to ask, "Am I done? Or is someone going to come see me?". The staff was completely clueless and had obviously forgotten I was there. I would've been left in that room all day if I hadn't spoke up. Apparently the "printer didn't print my paper work, so they didn't know I was still there." Not once did the staff apologize for wasting my time. The staff is COMPLETELY unorganized and discourteous. If you don't value your time and enjoy being looked over, then this is just the place for you!! Sincerely, Never returning"
