"My husband and stepsons absolutely love Indian food and have raved about this place. I’m still getting my sea legs when it comes to enjoying Indian Cuisine but I must say, I enjoyed everything I tried today at Choolaah! I’m excited to return and try more of their menu."
"For a fast casual restaurant, the food was… fine, I suppose. The pros of the meal included all the proteins and daals, with a special shoutout to the super flavorful mint chutney. Cons had to be the doughy samosas, bland roasted vegetables, and an utterly awful apple spice/tamarind chutney. The space meanwhile was bright and clean and styled industrial chic. Overall not the worst meal I’ve had, and it could be a convenient workday lunch spot, but there are other restaurants around town that better fill my urge for Indian food"
"The food was tasty and exactly as described on the menu, the hot sauces were very good, the mildest of the three was somewhat reminiscent of Tabasco, The medium sauce had an excellent flavor and a pleasant level of heat for most people, and the hot sauce was spicy without sacrificing flavor. The chickpea masala was excellent and the tiki masala was very solid as well. Was a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for Indian food on the go."
"I love this place. The salmon was very good but I wish I got a second portion. I am a bigger guy. I tried all the sauces and the hottest one is pretty hit so tread lightly. I loved the spicy mango sauce. I will be back to try more from here for sure. The mango lassi is to die for!"
"We enjoyed the food here. We got the chicken with white rice and the salmon with brown rice and they were both delicious and filling. Of all the sauces, I liked the yogurt mint, but I also don't like the very spicy ones, the mango sauce was pretty tasty but a bit too spicy for me. The mango latte was so good and super filling on it's own. Large dine in area and nice outside patio as well. I definitely want to return and try the lamb meatballs."
