"The most amazing program l've ever been through. The RecW absolutely helped to boost my music career. I learned more during the first 5 days than l've learned in years. By the time I graduated I was able to run sound at a local venue during the first week of graduation. As a performing musician.. I was able to take all that I learned to help run our live shows so much smoother. Also.. recording and mixing/mastering my own music became worlds easier. I can do it all on my own with no problem whatsoever. The RecW made it so I could walk into any studio or live venue and know what’s going on and run the gear. It's unbelievable how full and fluent the curriculum is. You start each day with lectures, and then you take what you just learned in that lecture and go directly into physically doing it. The RecW wastes zero time. You will get right on the big gear on the first day. The scheduling, the things we learn, the manner we learn them in, the focus and the organization of how it's all taught (by the most amazing teachers) this course is all around the most amazing and surreal experience l've ever had as a musician. The freedom we have to use all of the studios to our free will during breaks and downtime is absolutely amazing. It’s awesome to learn so much, and then be able to apply everything you’re learning in their top of the line studios right away. They even work directly with an actual concert venue in the local town. You’ll go there to run live sound and videos for live music. I knew the RecW would be great.. but it's absolutely exceeded every expectation that I had. I recommend this course to every single person on Earth that wants to be a musician, has a passion for music, wants to learn the proper way to create music, or wants to polish up the skills they already have.. to take it to the next level. Whether it's recording, mixing, live sound, digital, or analog... RecW does it ALL... and then some. I can't think of a better way to do it. Thank you for all that you do! "I attended a 4-wk program in 1982 and enjoyed being there - it was a cool place to be. While I never got a job in the industry I also never lost interest in the art and still enjoy home recording today, guitar recording and composing. So much has changed in 40 years in the industry so I'm kind of surprised the school is still in existence. I would say if you're considering going here, decide if you really need to go the school route with all the online instruction available these days but there's no substitute for in-person, hands-on faders instruction and my experience there way back was a lot of fun."
