"Went with my mom, we both had their version of a sample platter. You get 5 choices, and it's really filling. For you spicy fans, get the green chili chicken. It hits you good and solid, but it won't bowl you over. I also had the okra dish, which was like nothing I've ever had before. I thought I had had Indian food before, I was wrong. It's a small deli style counter, and they have a full range. Oh yeah, the chicken kabobs. OH YEAH! Also, ask to have the sweets explained. They have what looks like a tanned chocolate diamonds, which they are not. It's cashew, and it's amazing. You will leave satisfied and with spices and extras to cook with."
"Very helpful staff serving authentic, made in house foods. Answering all of our questions with a smile. Zero problems with communication. Vegetarian and non Veg options. The samosas were delicious! Also a very nice selection of groceries and spices. Spotlessly clean store where attenton to detail seems to be paramount. I Highly recommend!"
"A great little shop for Indian delights. Includes prepared food options as well as almost endless grocery and frozen food options. Really good prices. There are a couple modest tables with chairs to eat there if you like, but most will probably take out. Very friendly customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. If you like Indian food and culture this is a must stop for you. These are the kind of boutique grocers we should support and not just let the big chain grocers get all the business. Enjoy!"
"Love this place. The owner was extremely friendly; she showed my mother and sister (new to Indian cuisine) everything at the deli and made recommendations based on the ingredients and how spicy they were. The service was top notch and we bought some groceries on our way out because we were so happy with our visit for dinner. I thought the food was delicious and I can't wait to start trying recipes on my own, once I pick up all the spices I need from Deepam."
