"I am not sure why or what, but I have taken 3 different animals 2 dogs and one cat. Two had to be neutered. And the other was in a bad dog fight. Every single one had stitches that became infected. More then once. I don't recommend this place for surgery."

"It's almost a shame this place has went down the toilet. The new doctor was so rude, absolutely non-caring and only cared about how much money she could squeeze out of us. I hate to say this but, I hope this place ends up closing down. Van Wert County deserves better. There's so many better options around the area that won't nickel and dime you and will actually treat your animal."

"All I can write is my honest experience, all recent in the past month. From the get-go, there was drama between all of the front desk ladies. Their groomer that they contract is very immature, no one there likes her. My boyfriend takes in his parents cat who is struggling with his health. During the first appointment, we were never asked about his history. Never suggested vaccines, and never suggested any testing for life threatening illnesses such as Feline Leukemia. Fast forward a month and the cat gets very sick so we bring him back in. The vet, Emily, does not seem to care much, she says if he is still struggling next week to bring him back in. The next day he was still not eating(5 days total) and he was still throwing up so we called back and were told to give him an OTC medication which he had a poor reaction to. Fast forward and wow! Two months later he tests positive for Leukemia and he was already around a second cat that was not vaccinated. After this diagnosis, another vet there said that there's nothing we could do about it besides give him antibiotics for when he got sicker and hope. Also, the cat gained a third of his weight under their care and they knew about it and didn't care. We went to another vet. The first thing she brought up was his weight gain and her fear that he could develop diabetes among other health issues. She was appalled that the Van Wert vet showed no concern about his weight and that they were over prescribing him antibiotics, which destroy immune systems. She also mentioned that he has gingivitis. The Van Wert vet did not mention anything of the sorts, yet all 3 of the doctors checked his mouth. Unbelievable. This new vet is already more helpful than the 10 months we were going to the Van Wert clinic. Would not trust this vet if you cared about your animal. There is no excuse for this negligence."

"You can tell everyone there cares about the pets they see and the services they are providing. They are super friendly and very upfront about pricing. They walked me through the vaccination process/timeline and even gave me a print out of prices and what all was included. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for animal care in the area."
