"We booked a private party here and specifically said we wanted it in the Victorian room after having a meeting with the owner. It’s a beautiful smaller room with a fireplace that he also said he could get going for us if we wanted on that day. Upon arrival I was very disappointed to hear that they set us up in the library instead considering we hadn’t even seen that room when we paid $100 plus tax the day that we booked it. The fireplace was also not going. The owner apologized, but did nothing else to make it right. If the other room wasn’t available when we were there to book he should have said that then, which tells me that he just moved us without asking, and gave that room to another party after we had booked it. Very poor management and ownership if you are asking me. We should have at least been compensated something back for paying for a room that we didn’t want. The food was good and our waitress did a great job, but after this experience I will never book here again myself, or recommend that anyone else book here for their private parties."

"This visit was unacceptably awful. We were sat at a bar type table near the bar, which in itself wasn't awful, except most of the chairs were in dire need of replacement. Some were literally missing pieces of the cushion. It took an unusually long time to even get menus after we were seated. Again, not necessarily awful. But then, it took an extremely long time to get our food. This includes our appetizers and salads. Our buffalo chicken spring rolls were over cooked and the chicken in them did not taste very good. In the time we had to wait for our food, our drinks sat empty for a very long time before the server finally got us refills. Finally our meals arrived. One of our steaks was way overcooked, more medium well to well done when it was ordered medium rare. The flavor of the steaks were not great either. They were very bland. We never got a second refill of drinks. We literally ate half our meals with no beverage. Once our meals were delivered, our server did not stop by, or even walk by for us to get her attention even one time. After we finished our meals, we sat for, again, a long time before the server finally stopped by our table. When she stopped, she handed us our bill as she asked if we needed anything else. One of us wanted to order dessert, but didn't for fear of how much longer we'd have to wait. It's unfortunate how much we spent to have had such awful service and mediocre, at best, food. I want to clarify that we don't necessarily find this bad service the fault of the server as she was also the bartender. This, in my opinion, was a result of poor staffing and section assignment to servers and bartenders."

"Mulligan’s is incredible! Drove from Newark (almost 2 hours) for an event and landed there. Excellent everything! The service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent. The appetizer sampler was fantastic: giant fried mushrooms, potato skins, chicken fingers, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The fish and chips were perfectly executed and delicious. The alfredo pasta was incredible, and I’m dying for the recipe! I didn’t try the bangers and mash that someone else ordered, but they were wildly impressed as well. Five stars across the board — we will definitely be back!"

"I haven't been to Mulligans in a long time and I was very excited to come back. Unfortunately the food was not up to their typical standards that I remember. The ribs were tough, mashed potatoes were soupy, the Irish perogies were missing the caramelized onions and corned beef. The fries mushrooms and cheese sticks were good though. Service was good but the place was about empty on a Saturday night. I would still go back, maybe just having a bad night."
