"For the most part it is a good school, academically. However the front desk clerk needs a "manners 101" class. Teachers make children go to recess outside when it feels 9 degrees outside and freezing wind. Transportation is the worst, they don't have but 1 or maybe 2 buses so they rely on Centerville City school buses. The front desk clerk never knows anything about bus lines. One day I called them to pull my child from bus line and put her on car line since I was going to pick her up. She told one of the teachers and that teacher forgot or something and when I came to pick up my child she was not in car line or anywhere in school, they let her go on the bus and nobody was home so my child ended up crying thinking I forgot about her, she thought she was being kidnapped. That same day the bus did not pick her up in the morning because Centerville schools were closed and school buses were not working. Spring Valley DID NOT send any notice about me needing to drop off my child or them sending their bus to pick her up, mind you that the day before the Centerville school bus driver said Spring Valley would send their own bus to pick students up. So it was a horrible experience. But overall it is a Christian Adventist school, very nice but some people don't seam to care so much about our children unless it was their own children."

"Private school where Christ is first followed by scholastic excellence. The neighborhood comes to watch 4th of July fireworks from Centerville High School in SVA's ballfield."
