"This has always been our go to spot for special occasions. Today we experienced a rude man at the hostess station that refused to seat us in the restaurant because we didn't use a credit card to make a reservation. This is the ONLY restaurant we've encountered that has required this. We were seated in the heated patio area (29 degrees outside). We walked past atleast 7 empty tables along with an empty bar. We came on a Saturday at 430pm. We were brought our salads, one of them had a dead bug in it. At the conclusion of our meal we spent $100 to sit on patio furniture on a patio and given food with a bug in it. The food also lacked flavor this time, I couldnt even eat half my blackened shrimp pasta because it had no flavor. We ordered 2 kids meala that both are supposed to come with ice cream and the waitress never even offered it or asked if we wanted it. A manager also never came to our table to talk to us about our experience. We will not be returning."

"We sat at the bar, the owner was very personable and polite and invited us back because he new we had a bit of a drive to get there. Outstanding service from 2 very cool bartenders! The ladies rocked the service. They recommend the crab Rangoon dip and it was delicious. We both had the 16oz strip with garlic butter, and all I can say is WOW, amazing and cooked perfectly! I had a side of linguine with house made chardonnay sauce and it was to die for. For dessert we tried the truffle cheese cake, and if you never tried it you just have to trust me, it was that yummy. The salad was even good. I would not recommend the white french because it tasted more like blue cheese, but the white balsamic was very good. I give this place a 10, quality and service is definitely IMPORTANT to them."
"We kicked off our anniversary weekend by going here to try something new! It was late and we weren't really hungry so we did not plan to order a lot...well let me just stay that we were so glad that we chose to try Brix! From the pierogi to the twice fried wings (best I've ever had) to the Cauliflower Flatbread (delicious) we were please with EVERYTHING even the bill! For the quality of the food and the service, our bill was spot on!!"
