"I went to this school for 3 years (6th-8th grade) and I can name 3 of the staff that were truly wonderful. Although In my experience being here, there have been quite a few teachers and staff who are very lackluster. I was told throughout my three years that people expected more from me than the other students for some reason, and I believe that isn't fair. All of the students should be treated the same way, regardless of their past. I can recall plenty of instances where I was punished for doing something simple like talking in class, yet there were other students doing the same, or even worse at the time. There were even instances when me and my friends were punished for looking at each other in class and we didn't say anything. And the worst of it all is when teachers had lied about me behind my back and I got in trouble. Many of the punishments were not adequate to the crime. An to top it all off, a good portion of the students are very poorly behaved. I would not recommend bringing your student here for any reason."

"the special needs system here is on the rough side. There isnt much patience with the special needs children. This school although loves to fail the students vs. having just a little more patience with them. My daughter often cries and worries if shell pass her grade. As a child with an iep she shouldnt worry if shell be passing to the next grade or not. She shouldnt wonder if the teacher likes her one day and not the next."
