"As the Guidance Counselor and Social Skills teacher at Hope Learning Academy for all 10 years we have been open, I have personally witnessed the tremendous growth this school has undergone over the past decade. Starting with just 25 students kindergarten through 8th grade, we have grown to more than 50 students. Our speciality in serving students with special learning needs has kept our classrooms small. We have had two wonderful school leaders that have led us in the right direction towards serving our population in all of the ways they need (academically, socially, emotionally). Our instructional leader has made it possible for us to have many wonderful intervention programs including Orton Gillingham, Lexia, iReady math and reading, LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention) and more. I am proud to work at Hope and I truly LOVE what I do here. Our small staff is like a family. Working here is truly a joy of my life. I love coming to work, even on the hard days. The students and committed, passionate staff, make Hope a comfortable place to work and learn."
"I dont know seem like the school climate is different since Mr. Bryson. left and school is more led by staff than the school leader. My child was signed up for one one one session over the summer he was over looked. When disclosed, I was told it was others ahead even when his paperwork was turned in on time so I am feeling some kind of way these days."
