"Someone needs to contact the news there are 2 classes at the moment going on the school with no teachers the dean is covering one of the classes and she has no real time to be teaching the other lady in charge of the other class is also in charge of clinical stuff and again has no time to be any type of assistant to the class people are paying a lot of money and the school truly needs to sued worst school ever heard of"

"I'm currently finishing up 1st quarter in the LPN program so far I like it.. If you don't have prior experience in healthcare such as STNA, MA, etc, you may struggle a bit. Ms. Sandy is awesome she's a really good instructor she doesn't just read off a PowerPoint, She really drills the information into your brain. Dr. Steven is wonderful as well. A different type of director in a good way, she is approachable she wants you to pass and move forward to the next quarter. She truly wants students to be successful in their career as a nurse. They don't keep instructors around for long with low pass rates. It's not a school that likes keeping students back for more money."

"Really bad experience today at the front desk. Lady was a stand-in, and I had a question, and she got very rude when I informed her of a concern. I was not trying to be rude or disrespectful, but when someone tries to talk at you instead of guide you, it is very irritating. Then I went online to let them know I was upset and wanted to file a complaint they refused to give me a number or email to send my concern. Instead, they kept pushing me through text to disclose my concern. I asked them again for information because my attitude was escalating. I did not talk to others until I had time to calm down. This is very unpleasant and uncomfortable and unprofessional. This institution preaches about therapeutic communication but does not practice what they preach. Response: What part of I wanted an email and number to contact was addressed.. I was angry and wanted to cool off. Does anyone understand the cool off period and speaking to someone immediately afterwards? It was not good, so the request was for email and number. Not alive person."

"I wasn’t really sure at the time I made the correct decision to attend Athena Careers Academy. I just was looking for a school where I can get the job done and be own my!!! I heard a lot of negative things about the school from different students prior whom attended Athena, and what I can say is that I’m a woman whom like to make her own decisions because I’m my own person! I’m grateful that I didn’t allow other opinions distract me from Registering For the Bridge from Lpn-Rn program. I had an amazing journey The Instructor were amazing, I graduated with Honors and was inducted in The Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society !!! I’m super proud of myself and I’m so Thankful that I had the honor to receive my education and training from Athena Careers Academy in Toledo Ohio!!"

"Daughter is currently in LPN program here , it’s ok but the quality of the program and teachers could be better. For the money you pay the students should have better instruction, according to my daughter instructors are mediocre with the exception of a few. They rather see you fail than help you . Clinical is a joke , it’s been mostly virtual! Not sure how she can get the knowledge and hands on experience that she needs doing virtual clinicals I asked my daughter why no clinical and she indicated that the teachers change the schedule all the time . When she does her RN she will go in MI"
