"My daughter use to go here. This is a great school. It is a K thru 8th grade. It has a lot of awesome teachers, they work with your child to make sure that they are were they need to be and if not they work to make sure they get there. Like I said Awesome School."
"The teachers that my child has had have been wonderful and are great with communication and emailing/calling when there is a problem or when something great has happened. I hope the teachers there find a school where they will be appreciated and have the structure to do great things with the kids of this world. HORIZONS is not one of them. My child has been there for almost 6 years now, within the past 2 years we have had so many issues with communication, or lack there of, between parent and front office/principal. The front office is very rude. If you have an issue and want more information on an incident that happened you will be hung up on, they do not communicate with the parent but through the child which I feel is very inappropriate.... example: child has been picked up late from an after school program, if that happens 3x your child is kicked out of program, if I am not the one picking up my child from the program how am I suppose to know that it is happening.... I don't!! They tell the child when it is too late and that they can't stay after school anymore. What is wrong with sending a note home with that student that they were late (x) amount of times so that the PARENT can be aware of it happening. I could go on and on but just so you get the idea, I will leave it at this."
