"Fantastic gym and community. Couldn't ask for better people or a better sport. I've gotten in shape, built self confidence, learned self defense, and made life long friends here. "I used to train bjj here a few years ago. Definitely would not recommend if you are looking to progress beyond a basic level of jiu jitsu. The price is outrageous for the level of instruction you are getting. My eyes were opened when I joined a new gym. This gym does not allow cross training. When I trained there I thought that was normal. Well, apparently it’s not normal at all, and it’s a very old school mentality. It hinders the progress of your students. And besides, I’m paying YOU. I progressed so much more in 6 months at my new gym than in 2 years at this gym. That says something. They don’t let you wear whatever gi you want to, you have to buy theirs. There are more gyms in the surrounding areas that are better priced and have better instruction. Avoid this gym."
"Amazing place to learn the true different kinds of martial arts! The owner and his wife are amazing individuals and I have known them for a very long time. It’s a friendly and family environment that welcomes all! There are no egos allowed here which is nice because we are all learning and making one another better martial artist."
