"Church: Church in Silver Lake Date: 15-Sep-13 Day of Week: Sunday Time: 10:30am *--Quality (Scale 1-10)--* **Music- 3 Good music selection. Talented musicians. Set up was awkward and came across as unprepared. Couldn’t really see or hear the choir. The songs were played at a faster tempo than they were written. **Sermon -8 Used videos and prepared speech. Good Speaker. Tasteful use of humor. **Venue-8 Clean and welcoming. *--Scale Traditional (1)-Contemporary (10)--* **Music-5 Mix of Traditional and Contemporary. Mix of hymns and contemporary music from the early 2000s. Piano and Vocals. No clapping. **Sermon-8 Old Testament message delivered as applicable to modern life. **Venue-6 Pews, but updated with a modern look. *--Comfort (Scale 1-10)--* **Seating-8 Cushioned pews. *--Friendliness (Scale 1-10)--* **Congregation-8 Greeted by a handful of members. Welcoming, but not overbearing. **Pastor-9 Projector or Overhead? Yes, two overhead projectors. Used iPad as lecturn. Bulletin with order of service? Yes Length of Service: 60 minutes "Fellowship" Before or After Service? Yes, offered coffee and treats after service. Put visitors on the spot? No. Said “hello,” but did not make a big deal during service."
