"They used to be a very good health system, but the have gone downhill , great doctors have left along with staff that knew what they are doing . Now they are getting to point where they are making errors which may endanger your life. You may get a great staff member or a poorly trained one or experience one that makes errors and blames it on others . I strongly suggest you go down the road to another practice until they solve their operational difficulties . This is the first time ever I felt a complete lack of empathy from healthcare setting ."

"I had my baby April 5th 2023 in the miracle of life center ❤️ it was an amazing experience and I had an amazing team of nurses and doctors! Even in an emergency situation they kept us in the loop of our care. We tired natural induction and ended in an emergency C-section and they had so much care and concern to keep us in the loop."

"I recently went to the ER battling serious suicidal thoughts. As soon as I was taken back, my vitals were taken and I was told how things would go. I went in around midnight and had to stay until morning because there were no therapists available. My room was kept open with a security guard watching over me the entire time. I was not spoken to or checked on by any nurses the entire time unless it was a necessary procedure. My partner and I were both told that they could come see me after I spoke with a doctor, and I was left alone for around 2 hours before they could visit. Because leaving an actively suicidal patient alone with their thoughts is a great idea, right? I slept, and in the morning, I was connected with a therapist via a Zoom meeting. The session expired midway through our call and had to be reconnected because the hospital was using the free trial of the application. After my call with her I was sent home with a plan to be admitted to an outpatient program elsewhere, which I will be going through with. I understand to many people the ER is for physical emergencies over mental health crises, but I felt looked upon as more like an obligation than a patient. It felt like a heartless slog through the bare minimum definition of “treatment.” If I’m ever bleeding out in the future I’ll just take the risk and drive to Dublin."

"I would never return to Memorial. They brush things off like it's not "life threatening" , exact words and then 3 hours later my husband died of an aortic dissection. Scans that were done earlier that day showed a massive bulge in his aorta, 13cm. He should've been taken into surgery but they claimed it was a GI issue. Blood work, numerous scans, x-rays, all showing abnormal readings. His symptoms were classic of aortic dissection. Still they failed. On top of that when I left the hospital that night they had no answers how he died, it wasn't until the next week when I spoke to the coroner that I was told. They refused to do an autopsy saying it was natural causes. A 13cm bulge can not be missed, the coroner said the scan showed it. So now my husband, 48 years old, generally healthy is gone because of something they missed. On top of that, bills arrive for that day. Really! You want me to pay for radiology and cardiology?? We were at that hospital twice for the same symptoms within 2 days of each other. They did not have him on any monitors except a blood pressure cuff. With chest pains, shortness of breath, enormous pain in his abdomen. My advice, be demanding when it comes to making sure the doctors are taking things seriously and push for results from each test once they are done. The day he died we were in that hospital for 9 hours while they ran all these tests before he had the episode that killed him."
