"The food was delicious. I have grown up eating this type of food and did not imagine to find it in cincinnati. Everything was extremely fresh and you could tell that it was made from scratch. The lentil soup was amazing and seasoned perfectly. The sampler platter was delicious, and the pita fresh out of the oven. Branzino was cooked perfectly with every bite I had to stop and think how good it was. The owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. As other reviews stated the service was lacking. Our table wasn't bussed, additional silverware never came, waiter seemed absent and when he did stop by the table he did not give you enough time to even turn to say anything, better service came from the food runner than our waiter, but the food more than made up for it and I will be back for sure."
"Our latest stop at Phoenician Taverna was nothing short of amazing with our waiter Gary. He recommended food for us to try throughout the menu and a bottle to pair. Gary was very kind, funny and taught us some about Lebanese culture. It was busy on Saturday night, but Gary made us feel like we were the only ones there! My boyfriend and his family have been coming to the Phoenician for over 10 years - the quality and consistency is superb. They have been so quick with the food recently! If you want to be in and out, you can. But if you want to take your time and enjoy the ambiance, it's possible too. When you make your reservation, ask for Gary and tell him you saw the review on Google! My star rating: 5 ⭐ - must go!!! 4 ⭐- liked it, give it a try! 3 ⭐ - it was alright 2 ⭐ - I probably won't go back 1 ⭐ - turnaround and run"
"Always delicious food that never disappoints! The hummus trio is delicious. The service lacks a little bit and the waitress seemed annoyed when I asked questions but the food is always incredible! Atmosphere is great too."
"Don't let the stripmall location fool you, this is a very nice place. Lots of gluten free options as well. Nice ambiance with lower lighting and well dressed wait staff. Staff was allergy knowledgeable. The menu comes with good explanations so you don't feel weird if you're not used to ordering Lebanese food. Highly recommend the baba gannoush, the appetizer sampler, and anything with lamb."
