Ann & Tony's

"Traveled out to West Jefferson today for some lunch. Decided to finally check out Ann & Tony's, been on my list for quite a while. Ordered the Italian Combo #2. It consists of Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo. It also came with a salad and bread. The Alfredo had a weird flavor to it, like it was really buttery taste to it. The Lasagna was really tasty with a nice tomato sauce on top, a good layer of cheese and a lot of meat layered in. There were a number of layers to it. On to the Star which was the Chicken Parmesan. It has a nice crispy exterior with a juicy chicken inside. Had a nice layer of cheese and sauce on it. Very flavorful. The salad was nothing special. Italian bread was nothing special either. I wanted to close this with a positive which was my waitress Brittany. She was on it from the beginning and timed out everything, Checked on me a number of times and made sure I was well taken care of."

"We heard how great this place was, so we gave it a try. We all found the food to be bland. My daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo, I had the #1 combo, and my husband had the #2 combo. The server was alone and busy but did as well as she possibly could. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff."

"A nice venue with good service for a cheap family meal. The food was basic American-Italian fair with a limited menu. Nothing much more than what could easily be made at home and a little lack-luster in flavor. They also automatically add a charge for using credit card AND the tip %age was on the total with tax and the card charge, not on the meal cost which is incorrect and poor practice IMO."

"This is a super cute Italian restaurant. The menu is small, but has all of the important staples. I got an order of the small lasagna and it was plenty! Enough for me to take leftovers home. My husband got the chicken parmesan and just look how big that chicken is! The chicken was our favorite of the whole meal. The bread is just a basic white bread but comes with a garlic butter and regular butter if needed. The spaghetti and salad were also nothing too special but still good. All of our sauces had meat in them, which was fine with us. Our waitress was great, she even sent us home with a side of their spaghetti sauce with our leftovers. We went around 6pm on a Thursday and there was plenty of seating. They do not have a drink menu but do have a full bar."
