"To start off, I ordered a to-go meal for lunch, which I ordered the filete relleno and the tres leches. When I arrived to pick up and pay for my order, there was no one around at the host stand, bar, or register desk. It took around 10 minutes before anyone came out, and from there I payed and took my order. When I got back to eat, I found the fries and rice to be very well made, the salad lacked inspiration as it was just lettuce with an orange slice, and the tortillas to be nice. The menu mentions garlic bread which was missing. Now onto to main course, the filete relleno. This is described on the menu as a stuffed fish fillet with octopus, shrimp, bell peppers, and mushrooms, with melted cheese. What I received, was a fish fillet with scallops, mussels, whole shrimp (not deveined and with head on), pasta, a lot of cream based sauce, and not a single mushroom, bell pepper, or bit of octopus on the order. There might have been melted cheese under the sauce but it was so drowned in it that it would be unrecognizable. From looking back at the menu, it appears my dish was half made and then combined with a pasta Vallarta, which is a much cheaper meal. The Tres Leches cake was really good though, which is what brought my overall score back up to 3/5 stars. However, I have no intention of returning after this experience."

"Delicious, and great service! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the manager stopped by to make sure things were OK too. Portion sizes were large, and the dishes looked impressive. I got the filete relleno. The menu undersells it. It says it is stuffed with shrimp, but really, it is stuffed with all kinds of seafood! The ceviche for an appetizer in place of salsa is delicious. My husband ordered a shrimp dish that he liked. It came with shells on. On delivering his dish the server asked if he would like it without shells, and offered to remake the dish. My husband was happy with it as it came. But the server came over later with a bowl of more shrimp, shells off, so he could try it both ways! I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back soon!"

"This was the best meal I've had in a long time and can't wait to go again. The restaurant itself is very clean and new with a nice seaside theme. The drink options were great and the food was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the coco loco and the filete relleno."

"Finally, a fresh, amazing, creative Mexican restaurant in the Dayton area. The seafood selection is vast and prepared to perfection. Definitely not the typical Dayton Mexican restaurant. Can’t wait to return."
