"First thing walking in, I noticed how clean the place was. Food is on display, and everything looked wonderful. We decided to eat at location. We first noticed the pricing which some people mentioned as being a little high. I can understand after seeing pricing. Once I received the order, the price concern was no longer an issue. The amount of meat in the sandwich justifies the price in my opinion. The sandwiches were flavorful and Huge!!! Couldn't get my mouth over the sandwich. Very very filling. The only downside were the fries. Although very flavorful and skin on they were cold and limp. The dipping sauce for the fries fantastic!!! Overall very impressed and will definitely go back."

"Glad to see this actual Deli in Dayton! The service and people were excellent. Good location at Whip and Alex Bell Rd (route 48). The Potato Pancakes were amazing. Three on a platter with sour cream and applesauce. Would order those again. The Knish look great as well. And they have Dr Brown's Sodas! My Matzo Ball soup was very good. My mother's chicken noodle soup - she loved it. My corned beef sandwich was OK. I thought it could have been warmer and more flavorful. There were some super fatty unchewable slices of corned beef that I had to remove. Hoping that was an exception to the rule. The Seeded Rye bread that the sandwiches come on was excellent and my Mom loved her white bread on hers. The deli case looked enticing. We will return to try the Cheesecake. And yes ... Other reviews complained that it's pricey. It is a little pricey."

"They are in an old fast food building, but they are FAR from fast food! The wife and I are will will go back for the potato pancakes alone, they were delicious! But the reuben sandwich with the half sour pickle is worth the stop alone and was the best I have ever had in my 53 years! And I have had a few... The potato salad was so delicious and the wife LOVED the grill cheese. But the cheese cake with blueberry topping on the side was short of heavily!You owe it to yourself to try true Delicatessen!"

"We have been so excited to try this brand new & authentic Jewish deli that just opened down the street from our house. During development the owners traveled all over the country (specifically NYC) to learn from the best delis. We 20/10 recommend!!! This was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. We had potato cakes as an appetizer & split a Reuben. I had tomato bisque soup & my husband had split pea. Then we had cheesecake for dessert (I forgot get a picture). For anyone in the Dayton area this exceeded our expectations & is truly one of the best!"

"Service is amazing and informative.The restaurant is very clean. The prices are a bit steep but for fresh ingredients it’s worth it. I ordered a half Rueben sandwich with tomato Basil bisque. The sauerkraut could have use a bit more of a kick for my liking. The pastrami could have been trimmed of fat a little better, but the floor was good. The tomato basil bisque was the star of the show, creamy and delicate on my palate. My husband ordered the turkey sandwich and was disappointed that it came with no condiment. He also had a side order macaroni salad and he said it was not creamy enough for him. We ordered a knish on the side with horseradish mustard sauce, it was heavy but delicious. Each plate came with a half of a small kosher pickle. The owner should consider Kaiser Food Company for a better sauerkraut and pickle to offer patrons. We will be back to try many other things on the menu!"
