Jimmie's Ladder 11

"I got the cauliflower wings as an appetizer and did the medium hot sauce on them. They were absolutely delicious and worth the price. I did not get a photo of it but I got their fish and chips as my main dish. Their fries are fresh cut, and they were a little soggy and probably could have been seasoned or salted more but pretty good overall. The deep fried cod was really good. The quality was great! It was served with coleslaw which was absolutely delicious. I added pepper to mine and it added that little bit of flavor that made it probably the best thing I had this evening. They have a lot of options and dishes to choose from such as pizza calzones salads sandwiches burgers and pasta. I definitely recommend going here and trying many of their dishes as they are all pretty good quality."

"Staff was very friendly and went out of there way to explain the history of the building after we asked about it. I Highly recommend this Restaurant and has many choices to choose from the menu. Plenty of seating with outdoor seating during warmer months. History Buffs need to come for sure."

"Jimmie's Ladder 11 atmosphere was fun! They don't make buildings like this any more. The remodeled historic 1892 Firehouse was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and curious! Krugu was our server, and was wonderful. He was upbeat and attentiveness making for a really good experience. Starter: The nochos. We got the half portion and it was enough for us 4 girls. Loved the chilly on it, with its sweet flavor. They topped it with jalapeños that gave it a little spice. The chips tasted fresh and were crispy. Side Salad was way yummy! The Ruben was just okay. I wouldn't get it again. The sauerkraut was more like coleslaw. The corn beef was moist and yummy though. The Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich was good. The chicken was not at all overcooked and the shredded ham was moist and flavorful. The Italian sub tasted good. It was big and my daughter didn't finish it, but there was no way I'd take it home. If I were to keep it in the fridge it would get soggy. The marinara sauce they put on it was thin - more like a sauce you'd put on spaghetti not a sandwich. The Mushroom Burger was moist and flavorful. I really liked this burger! It had the right amount of mushrooms. It comes with baken and my personal preference is that baken doesn't belong on a Mushroom Burger. The fries: I'm supper pickey about fries and I didn't like these. I hate potato skinned fries. Plus these tasted like they were fried too long. Again, I'm supper picky so don't take my word on the fries."

"The atmosphere is a really laid back and super chill vibe. The wait staff are all friendly - We started out with some loaded pita chips and they were so delicious, half an order was enough for 3 adults. My son thought the hockey tenders were too dry, but enjoyed the hand cut fries. I really enjoyed the fries as well. The fish in the fish and chips was good. One of my first pieces was undercooked - and was replaced with a new serving!! The coleslaw is amazing- the cut is like spaghetti noodles and really soaks up the dressing. My hubs enjoyed his calzone and ended up bringing half home. Large servings at reasonable prices. So glad we did some research on hidden gems of Dayton and didn't take the hotels recommendation for yet another chain like place! This place is a must visit!"

"Thank you, thank you for a great family dinner night. My last experience, although a while ago, was not the best. Rude waiter and average food. But this time was completely different. There were 7 of us, and everything we ordered was great. I had not one complaint from the group, and that's saying something. Our waiter was very friendly and personable, and most importantly of all, patient. With a group this big and particular, it takes a special person. We will be back!"
