"Good food, decently priced! Corn bread is the best part! Recommend the pulled pork over the chicken! The meatloaf is always a hit if you are into it! Don’t forget PB pie on the way out!"

"Eat here weekly but today went to grab lunch on my 30 minute lunch break. It was slower than usual but I didn't trip because the food is usually good. When they finally gave me my five wing dinner, I opened the container and instantly smelled burnt. The wings were burnt to perfection and there were only four. The drive thru attendant was helpful and went and got the forgotten wing, which was burnt too. She was nice and wrote my name down for my wings to be replaced but its just unacceptable to serve someone burnt wings. Not only that, a huge inconvenience to not have a lunch you can't fully eat and an inconvenience on traveling back for an replacement. Cooks should be trained on pushing out quality food, very disappointing."

"I got the burnt ends, and while they were good, they were plenty greasy. The service was really good. However, being bombarded with high volume 80s rock hits the entire time we were there kind of detracted from the overall experience."

"Nice local smokehouse right off I70. Has a sport bar vibe with lots of firehouse decor. As you enter be prepared for fairly loud hard/progressive rock that made soft conversation difficult. We tried combo dinners to get a sampling of meats. The brisket was great, tender and flavorful. My wife like the smoked sausage but I felt it was a little too fine/smooth for my taste. Turkey was awesome. Also loved the baked beans, collards, garlic mashed potatoes. The side salad was incredibly fresh and tasty. The bar is well stocked and has numerous craft and National beers on draft. Service was polite and friendly. They have six signature sauces. Each are worth a try but I liked Chief Smoky and the Commissioner best. Definitely recommend a stop by if you are looking for something new and need to take a break from the highway if you’re not a local."

"This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The service was good and my side salad came pretty fast. The salad had a great amount of cheese so if you don’t like a lot of cheese, then ask for less cheese. However I love cheese so I loved this salad. The main course came out just a little while after and it was hot and delicious. I decided to go with the “Chief Smokey” sauce. It was second hottest and it was delicious. The prices weren’t that bad and the service was good. Overall 5 stars!"
