"My wife and I have been using this daycare for about a year. The experience has been wonderful. The Infants teachers are absolutely fantastic. My daughter has learned sooooo much from them. Miss Tiffany and Miss Shelly are really great teachers, as are the float teachers. There's always a ton of love and joy when I come in to pick up my daughter!"
"Update 2: Unfortunately, the meetings never really happened. There was a phone call and a series of emails in which they continued to label my normal son and the problem and refused to take ownership of their lack of connection or care for my son. I would chalk this up to me just being a momma bear if every professional we have seen had not said he was a normal little boy. Update: upcoming meeting My family has used this day care for nearly six years. My children have been here since birth. I was relatively pleased with how they worked with my daughter. Only a few incidents that happened with one teacher over potty training made me consider withdrawing. My son, however, has been a different story. The lack of teacher training in classroom management really affected our experience. Despite professional opinions from our pediatrician and other behavioral health professionals that my son's behavior was very typical of a three year old, he was labeled "dangerous" and "unsafe." The behaviors they described were very different from home or when we interact with other families/people. I provided numerous strategies and techniques from my 10 years of experience as an elementary teacher and my graduate degree in family counseling, that went unused. Not one incident report was written, but he was "dangerous" and "unsafe" for not fitting in their cookie cutter box. I am truly upset and deeply hurt by their handling of my son. If you have a busy toddler/preschooler with special needs or that needs more individualized attention, I would consider all options carefully."
