"I thought this would be a safe place for my children based off numerous recommendations, and the fact that it is affiliated with the church. I could not have been more wrong. I've had both of my children there for over 5 years and thought we had a wonderful relationship. Well, my son has had nothing but problems since moving to the potty training room, under the care of Leslie Moyer. He would constantly tell me that she was "mean" and throw fits when I tried to drop him off; things he's never done until moving to her room. My son was potty trained when he transitioned, but backslid terribly being under her care. He was having accidents about 3 times a week, and sometimes 2 a day. After one accident, my son had told me that he was told to lay back down during nap time after telling Leslie he had to go to the bathroom. I discussed my concerns with Danese Christmas (the director of the center) on more than one occasion. Each time being told that it was due to staffing issues. In mid-November, my son was having a full blown melt down on our way to drop him off. He was VERY persistent about not wanting to go. That's when he informed me that Leslie had smacked him. He distinctly remembers that is was his right cheek and proceeded to demonstrate. After bringing this to Danese's attention, she did little to correct the situation. The next day, my son was left alone with the teacher he had accused of smacking him and the door closed. Even though she's a mandated reporter of abuse, Danese didn't report the situation until I raised a stink about my son being alone with the teacher - 2 whole days after I initially informed her of the situation. Since then, she has kicked both of my children out in retaliation. I guess she cares more about her 5 star rating than the safety of these babies."
