"Very disappointed in our visit. Went there for a perch dinner and it was fried to a crisp and all of the flavor was gone. I have had this dinner when I come into town several times at the Bono Tavern and it is usually very good. I have been visiting Veelers/Bono Tavern since the 60s. However, the cole slaw was delicious. Maybe a new cook??? ;("
"Fantastic small town bar and grill. The cook has excellent recipes with many of them cooked from scratch. I would suggest taking a nice little detour and stopping in sometime."
"Went here last night for first time and I loved it! Staff of older guy working and I'm assuming sweet guy in college with piercings were so nice and friendly :) I'm assuming older guy was owner too and he was so nice! Food was delicious too and I absolutely loved the turtle soup! French onion soup was good as well! I got the perch and it was delicious and not one bone in it which was great they got them out! Breading wasn't too thick either and fish was perfectly cooked as well. Fries, tater tots and coleslaw was also great as well! Definitely will be coming back!"
