"First time here, visiting from out of town. Walking in the door gave you that comfortable, neighborhood diner & pub type feel. The food was delicious with substantial portions. I highly recommend the homemade Thousand Island dressing for your salad and the amazing French Onion soup!!! The place was crowded but our waitress was attentive and made you feel like you were her only customer. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back."
"We had a reservation for 10 people. We were all there on time and was seated right away. The staff was very polite. Drinks and appetizers was very much to our liking. For dinner 6 people ordered the prime rib all of which were cold, 4 of those had baked potatoes all of which were cold even though they were rapped in foil, not sure how that is possible. Two people had liver and onions with bacon. They were happy with. One had hamburger,was happy that."
"Excellent food and great people. We dined in twice (at the bar) while camping at Maumee Bay State park. We enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar; fun locals and football on the TV! Good selection of beer on tap, including local beers. Prime rib, burger, were both excellent, as was the artichoke dip. OMG the chocolate cake was huge! We will visit them again wherever in town."
"We had a large group (about 17 people) and they were very accommodating when I made the reservation and upon our arrival. The waitress did a great job and was very attentive to all of us! She got all of the orders correct for everyone there, and was personable and friendly. The food was awesome and I did not hear one complaint from anyone in our party, and there was a lot of different types of food ordered! Excellent place to meet and eat!"
"If you EVER are around the Maumee area, close to the Maumee beach area or lake ekie. This restaurant is a MUST! The portions are shocking. You can't get this service or this pricing anywhere in columbus. The owner walked around to ensure we were okay. TwICe. We were the only black and mixed race family here but we felt welcomed."
