El Tajin authentic Mexican food

"The service of this food was so terrible that I will never return here to eat. It was cold and he denied it. It took less than 5 minutes to make and I know because they remade it. Nachos with refried beans, cheese, lettuce ...which was missing the first time... Tomato's instead of pico, no onions and no jalapenos. So very cheap and easy. The food was cold with the sour cream. He claimed the beans were warm and then admitted that it sat for 30 minutes. He knew I was coming in and it only takes less than 5 minutes to make .. so it was made wrong and cold. He argued and was awful about remaking it. It cost $12 for this and $2 for a simple 12oz can of pop. So $14 dollars for cold food missing lettuce that takes less than 5 minutes to make. His attitude was condescending. No one wants cold food and no wants to pay for it. They aren't busy and have no other customers here. My first and last time here. I do not recommend."

"This is probably the best place I’ve eaten in Toledo. The best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. Nice homey place, great service. Food was incredible. Menudo #1. Beef tongue tacos #1. Tamales had a good portion of meat inside. Even the chips and salsa were muy bueno. Hands down if I lived closer, I’d go here regularly."

"Good vibes, the food is a bit pricey but decent portions. I ordered the Menudo and it was $15 and only one size available I was kinda taken back when she told me the price but I was very happy with the BIG to go cup filled to the brim, came with a choice of fresh Corn or rice tortillas Parcley flakes, chopped raw onions with Cilantro and two sides of hot sauce.. The soup was fantastic!"

"El Tajín has AMAZING authentic Mexican food. They are a fairly new restaurant to the area and have only been open for 8 months. Their staff spoke Spanish and English which we always appreciate. Their table salsa was very good with a bit of spice to it which we enjoyed. The birria cosomé was one of the best we have ever had! My tacos were jammed packed with meat that had perfect seasoning. You can really tell their food is fresh and prepared daily. The restaurant is small but perfect for groups of 4. The restaurant is door dash available and offers take out. Quick meal and excellent customer service. Definitely recommend 100%"

"First, I always love fruit waters, and the pina colada was excellent. Steak fajitas were yummy with a little kick. Rice was well flavored and moist. Then of course there is the menudo, hubby loved it. Hard to find here in Toledo. Reasonable priced and I just found out they deliver. Definitely a place to check out!!"
