"This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Small, intimate, with great and friendly service. I'd like to see some fresh items on the menu. It appears stagnant with very few changes over the years. The puttanesca sauce could be improved by avoiding the marinara base. Use freshly chopped, seeded tomatoes. It's a very quick sauce, made in less than 5 minutes in a commercial kitchen. Regardless, I'll be back many more times."
"By far one of the best Italian restaurants we have in Toledo! Food is always delicious, and menu is constantly changing with seasonal ingredients. Weekly specials are great, and if your lost in your decision on what to get they are always a good choice. Highly recommend trying there mussels, the sauce they use is so fresh and tasty. You literally have a large bowl of delicious soup once you've finished the mussels! We tried a new appetizer, some sort of mushroom dip and it was amazing! Both meals were delicious, the lasagna, which does have boiled eggs on top, a little different was great. The three meat pasta was also scrumptious. Highly recommend trying this place! Reservation only, small dining experience is awesome and very unique and personal."
"We always come here before our shows at the Stranahan. One of the best Italian restaurants in Toledo. We love the mussel appetizer, Aglio Olio e Peperoncino, 12 hour meat sauce and the desserts!"
"This is the second time we have taken advantage of Sebastiano's Wednesday family-style carry-out meals. Ordering was quick and easy--took all of five total minutes from seeing this month's menu to securing our pick-up time. The sausage bake on the menu for November has become our favorite! Pick-up is quick and seamless--in the time it takes to pay, your meal is packaged up and you're ready to walk out the door. The portions are generous, the price is more than fair, and the staff is friendly, courteous, and prompt. We have thus far only done carry-out, but the restaurant has always been clean and well appointed--the dining room seems like a cozy setting for a night out. I definitely recommend this lovely restaurant ran by an even lovelier staff :)"
