"I used to work at the Golden Lily when I was in high school when the location was in downtown Toledo. That was almost 40 years ago and the food is just as delicious as I remember it was back then. I ordered take out on December 31st and picked it up at the pick-up drive thru window. I ordered egg rolls, crab ragoon, chicken fried rice, and sesame chicken. Every last bit of it was excellent. The woman who took my order and the woman who I dealt with at the pick-up window were both courteous. I did not go in the restaurant so I cannot speak to the appearance of the atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant 100%!"
"I was very surprised by their prices and then the quantity of food. It was 17.50 for a general Taos chicken combination plate. Wonton soup and an egg roll included. I don’t think there was even 1/4th a cup of chicken. It was mainly just a ton of sauce poured on a plate. Our total bill For 2 dinners, wonton and potstickers was 60 plus bucks. I had heard such great things about this place so was sad to see this."
"Definitely my favorite place to eat Chinese! They have the absolute BEST sweet and sour chicken. It is made NOT with a red sauce BUT, with a honey/vinegar sauce. They also make a fantastic hot and sour soup. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I am a long time fan due to visiting when they were located in downtown Toledo over 20 years ago. We are so blessed to have them in this area! The two things that you must consider when dining inside is first, the decor is a little outdated and the windows are cold in the winter. Sometimes you will catch a glimpse of dust. And second, the wait staff is normally under staffed. If you can keep these things in mind and look past them, you will have your mind blown away with the most delicious food. And keep in mind that they do take orders by phone with pick up at their drive through window. Try them today!"
